MOBILE, Ala. – Nine former South Alabama baseball student-athletes are competing in professional baseball across the major and minor leagues.
In 57 games played with the St. Louis Cardinals this season, Brendan Donovan is batting .307 with 14 doubles, one triple, two home runs, 26 RBIs, 28 runs scored, two stolen bases, and .411 on-base percentage. Donovan has hit .321 with eight doubles, one triple, one home run, 17 RBIs, 15 runs scored, one stolen base and .402 OBP in the month of June, and has hit safely in 19 of 28 contests in that span.
