MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama had three players selected to the Preseason All-Sun Belt and were picked to finish in the West Division, announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The Jags placed two players on the First Team in Darrell Luter Jr. and Keith Gallmon Jr., both starters in the defensive backfield. Luter, who was recently named to the Athlon All-American fourth team and to the Jim Thorpe Award Watch List, returns after a stellar junior season that earned first team all-conference honors while also three All-America honors.
